I think this a perfectly reasonable introduction to horror. It follows the classic slasher troupes with some gore and heart, but as someone who enjoys horror quite frequently I found this to be a bit more juvenile than my liking with lots of tell, don't show.

Not a great book by any means but it reads like a crummy slasher movie and I really enjoyed it for that.

Really fun slasher

I’m a weenie and was too scared to turn the page more towards the beginning when the clowns showed up at Quinn’s? House and were messing with her dad lol

i really loved this book and this my favorite slasher book i have read because i havent had as good of luck with the other ones I have read. The kills in this were so good and the twist were as well. I loved the Missouri town setting and I think this book was very well executed. I will definitely read the sequel!
