Clever and realistic questions about life. Intriguing plot line with great twists. Loved the chapter titles.

Overall a good read, although I struggled a bit with the world-building. Just didn't all seem to be thoroughly flushed out to me.
This book is just awesome, I loved that it showed us what happened in the two futures, the characters are fenomenal (there were some things that I didn't agree with, but in the end I could see why they made those choices) and Trevor, best guy ever, I fell in love with him as the story went by and I'm so curious to know what will happen in the second book.
Thank you so much Oda Renate for this wonderfull recommendation, you were right I loved this book a lot :)

Very good plot twist, and I had very strong emotions at the end of the book. Good. #TeamTrevor

Pivot Point is a lovely read.
You know what else is lovely? One of the boys in this book, Trevor. This is how I feel about him after reading this book:

You know when you have to make a choice and you just wish you could see how either choice would turn out? That's Addie's Ability. She lives in a world full of people with different abilities and hers is to look into the future so she can pick the best option when she's put in front of a decision.
When Addie's parents get a divorce, she has to choose between either staying with her mom, with the other paranormals, or going with her dad, to the Outside, normal world. This sounds like a decision you'd Search out the future for, doesn't it?
Rated five stars because I loved it so much.

Liked this even more the second time, and I loved it the first time!
I'm 4.5 stars
Struggled to decide on a rating for this book because while the plot line isnt terribly unique - it has elements of uniqueness, but is also quite samey - it put a spin on the powers and abilities story line that you tend to see so much of.
I felt like i really got to know the characters throughout this book, and there really was some character development to be seen. To start with i was entirely rooting for Duke - how naive of me. Towards the end i just could not get enough of Trevor - he was everything you could ask for in a male lead. His and Addie's banger filled chats were both hilarious and adorable, and i found myself really adoring his and Addie's relationship.
I have to say i both loved and hated the ending. loved - because it made me hopeful for a second book and because it was genuinely just a good wrap up to the events of the book. hated - because there was no Trevor! i was expected to wait for the next book to see what happened next with him. Unacceptable.
Overall a really good book that i definitely enjoyed and would recommend

i kick myself because Pivot Point spend months sitting in my bedside table feeling all lonely, all because of my prejudice against love triangles. but i absolutely HATE love triangles, so my heart was against liking this even though I LOVE Kasie West and i should've trusted her better.
her story engaged me from page one, it was so incredibly easy to lost yourself in the story, even though it's all about future choices and paradoxes and it could have turned out to be a big confusing mess but it doesn't because it relies more in what the story itself makes you feel, in making you care for the characters and what happens to them.
so it was very hard for me to read it because i was so invested in what was happening that i could fantom the fact that what i was seeing might not become reality. and my worst nightmare became true.
so here i am trying to make sense of what happened to me while i read this book and i can't, i do not know how to put it in words, i just have to tell you i became a mess of emotions and to me, that's the most important thing when i read.
