Another throwback read for me. I read this when I was very young and absolutely fell in love with it. I was nervous to read again, as Card’s reputation has gone downhill. However, this book preaches all the values Card seems to have forgotten about. I will be the first to admit there were moments where I cringed, but I found the world and ethics so fascinating that I could not stop thinking about it. I could go on and on, but needless to say I will be seeking out Speaker For The Dead. 4.25
