I hope this does not unfold where I think it is going. If so, he gave away way too much at the beginning.

He did, but it was still fun.

I am aware that canaries in mines were used as early warning of deadly air but I was unfamiliar with the choke damp or blackdamp used in this novel to denote toxic carbon dioxide.
This is an imaginative novel that details explorative and technological possibilities in the Artic wasteland of Canada and the attempted exploitation of natural resources by a ruthless American entrepreneur.

Another fun Cussler adventure book.

Really enjoyed reading this book because it read more like a movie, even though you sort of knew the ending.

I liked how the story evolved around international relations and also the environment. I think it would be good if this book turned into a movie. Other than that, the book was definitely gripping until the end.

A good read.
