Another in the Stephanie Plum series. There isn't much to say, except that I thought that Stephanie did a lot less reacting and a lot more of being proactive, which made it less annoying than the last few books. The plot was interesting, though I could've done without the subplot of Stephanie catching baby rabies.

Still, there was some surprising character development, and there were changes that made a lot of sense and that made me feel better about rooting for Stephanie through 9 books. I'm actually looking forward to number 10.

Good old Plum book. Lots of Joe and Ranger. A little bit of crazy family and of course a descent amount Lola. Connie even gets in on action. There were a few twists and turns that kept me reading. One of the better books!!!

I needed something lighter to read, and Stephanie Plum, with her crazy friends and family, make me laugh.

Some fabulous quotables in this one:

"Sometimes it's hard to tell what's love, and what's only indigestion."

Vast improvement from the eighth book. Steph was in so much mortal danger all through out this book and I loved it. The more she gets shot at and kidnapped the more enjoyable the books are haha. I've got to try out Lula's meat diet for sureeee.
