The last quarter of the book definitely kept me guessing and I liked the twist. That said, both of the main characters were a bit unlikeable and I finished the book feeling quite icky.

The book took a little bit to get moving, but once it did, wow! It took me a while to get into it. The second half was much better than the first half.

A pleasant surprise! I didn’t read the inside flap or Goodreads description of this book until AFTER finishing it, and it definitely made some of the twists more enjoyable!

I loved that Florence was in the book publishing world, that most of the setting takes place in a foreign country, and the raw and real emotions conveyed throughout the story. It felt like this would be such a good mini series or movie.

I listened to the audiobook. The narrator did such a good job! With different inflections and tone changes.

4 stars only because there were minor things I was annoyed with and because I pieced together two of the big twists. Other than that, it was a solid, fun, little mystery!

ALL THE STARS! There is virtually nothing I can say about this that isn’t spoilery, so I am reduced to incoherent shrieking.

I’ve been waffling back and forth between 4 and 5 stars for this one. The beginning was so incredibly slow and Florence’s character was loathsome. But when things ramped up, woah. I audibly gasped at some points. I could’ve done without the end bit about Greta, but wow, what a story!
