I love a good celebrity memoir, especially when they narrate the audiobook. I've got no big or small feelings about Ripa, other than that when I've watched her show, I find her kind of hyper.

The title is apt: Ripa can be very long-winded about minutiae, or she can be purposefully vague about things. She overshares at times, and at times, left me wanting more information. Very uneven book.

She really doesn't seem to appreciate the extreme privilege she's had in life. She bad mouths her claims to fame, the few people she's worked with that she dares to mention and leaves out many others who were crucial to her success. She definitely has a good agent if she could get this published. The audiobook passed the time, but nothing more, nothing less.

Kelly is so funny- I love her humor! This book was an easy, fun read. I loved listening to the audio version, so I could hear Mark’s interjections etc.

Perfect celebrity memoir.  Told enough stories to give you an insider look, but also showed the “real” person - who does seem so real.  Reading the book makes you love the author even more.

It sounds like this is a fun book for people who grew up knowing Kelly Ripa and enjoy this type of humor, but it was not my cup of tea.
I didn’t find her funny at all, but she clearly thinks she is, which was a little off putting. The title is very suitable for the book— it was pretty long winded for the content you get out of it. I don’t want to be too harsh on her personally, since I had never heard her name before listening to it and didn’t have any sentimental connection to her (as it seems a lot of other reviewers did). But I have read and enjoyed plenty of story collections and memoirs by people I didn’t know much about. This one didn’t do the trick for me.
This book was recommended to me by spotify because I’d added  several memoirs to my library (yes I know it’s not actually a memoir) and I decided to listen to it because  other people said it was funny. It felt more like listening to a teenager self-deprecate to get compliments.   Again, maybe it’s just someone else’s type of humor and not mine.

My mindset on relating to people tends to be more about how they think than what experiences they’ve had. Kelly didn’t feel relatable to me even though that’s clearly the goal of the book. Of course once I had started the book I was too stubborn to put it down. But for me, it wasn’t worth the listen.
