Je suis dépitée. J’aurais aimé que la Tox ait une origine bien plus claire, qu’on ait davantage de révélations. Qu’est-ce qu’il advient de Raxter ? De Byatt, Reese et Hetty ??????? On est juste suspendus au bout d’un fil sans réelle conclusion et c’est assez… dommage

Pros- survival horror book. It’s one of my favorite gaming genres so of course I also love it in books.

Cons- the ending I need more what happens next someone please tell there’s a sequel for this coming.

This medium-paced YA horror was a fun read to start the spooky season! It was interesting to watch the relationships bloom & see how they deal with high stress/tense situations! As an adult, I'd rate this book 3 stars but taking into consideration its YA I give it 4!

I really enjoyed the first half of this boarding school horror, where teen girls have been quarantined in terrible conditions until a cure can be found to the toxin that mysteriously appeared and is causing body mutations. Each girl has a full back story and distinct personality, and complicated relationships with each other. Then we got into teen squabbling and left our heroes with few explanations at the end. The motivations of the villains make little sense.
