Sections of this story were really confusing & I could definitely tell that it trying to set up a sequel, which came off oddly and left the story feeling incomplete.

I had such high hopes for this but I was disappointed. It’s marketed as being sapphic but the ‘relationship’ is like 2 pages long. And the ending? If I had a physical copy of the book, I would’ve thrown it across the room. Very unsatisfying. I’ll give it stars for the unique writing style, descriptions, and body horror elements.

Wow that was pretty good. Intense and fast paced. Some gore and quite dark - so not for the faint of heart. My biggest criticism is that I wish there was just a little more at the end.

Overall I felt like this was captivating and interesting. Would recommend
