DNF, the setting brought some old related study laboratory trauma so skipped most of the story.

Did check out some chapters here and there to see what the fuss is all about, and was sadly disappointed by how Olive clearly does not listen to her own boundaries and pushes past them because she thinks the world expects her to want this?

Big nope, so yeah 1 star from me.

I loved this book. It was so unbelievably cute, even if it was quite predictable and I read ahead quite a bit by ‘accident’. But I just loved this book and the characters were so cute and loveable. I felt like I was going to get tearful because I was finishing it and have now been searching for similar books so I’m not lost without it. Adam is currently one of my top fantasy boyfriends.

Edit: I may have cried a little in the car thinking about the book with some sad music because I loved Adam and Olive and the story

Edit again: THERE IS A ADAM POV OF CHAPTER 16! This is even more firmly one of my favourite books ever.
