This was terrifying...ESPECIALLY the * Ugh. Al I can say is that out of all the books in all the fictional stories I've ever read, the evil that's in this world is the scariest/most evil. In my opinion...
But on the somewhat bright side, the artwork was amazing. As usual. As was the story line, I guess...I don't know, guess I'm not into being super afraid from reading something?! (Got into it some, haha)

A thrill ride! With war looming the rebels make it to the city of Lucian. Once there they intend to take the war the the elf king but first they have to escape. Turns out shes the mayor and he father built the underground refuge. Meanwhile Navin trains to be a pilot but goofing off get him thrown off the team ,until his help is needed to save others from the attack. Definitely creepy bad guy ghosts. Don’t read if your child is easily scared. A stranger saves them and leads them to the resistance Emily,Virgo,and Trellis face down Max and his evil stone spirit. Walking through memories they get glimpse at the old Max. Back in Lucian the Captain races to active the homing signal. Max finds out his revenge was changed him into someone his friend Lyra didn’t recognize. His hunt for vengeance ruined him. Finally giving up he names a place to help Trellis defeat the Elf King.
