This book has its laugh out loud moments and it’s very interesting to see Chris put his foot in his mouth figuratively many times. I certainly enjoyed learning about reading about his experiences, Japanese traditions from a foreigner’s perspective, and reading his anecdotes. However, this book is too long, jumps around, and feels like his YouTube videos combined in one book. If you are a reader, you won’t enjoy it. i love his videos, but this was very poorly written.

I feel like my rating is skewed because I’ve loved watching Chris’ videos for so long and this book just feels like such a nice compliment piece to that long history of videos.
