Having watched a good chunk of his videos on YouTube, most stories in this book were known to me. But it was such fun to "hear" them again in book form. Chris has a talent for storytelling, to me, it has the right balance between humour, seriousness and interesting facts about Japan. A very entertaining book where you come out a little bit more knowledgeable about Japan.

Starts okayish, standard growing up, learning a bit of culture, trying very hard to be funny, but degenerates into an utterly pointless list of YouTube descriptions with minimal insight into Japan.
