Lesbian black swan. It was a good read. There were parts that were very metaphorical and I think I just hoped they would talk to each other more directly before being full on.

Katarina redefined ice queen. I mean you really couldn’t pull out two more opposite characters from what I’ve read this year.

I found that the beginning of the book really dragged for me, but then the end really moved quickly. Almost too quickly. It felt like a lot was shoved into the second half of the book and felt a little lost in it. I really enjoyed the concept, I just wish I had more time to really have gotten through each plot point instead of it feeling rushed.

The prose in the book are well written, and there were definitely aspects of the book I liked. However, I really struggled with the heavy foreshadowing- it honestly just made me anxious. It also meant I anticipated most of the twists, so they were less impactful. Spoiler ** also a miss- communication and a 7 year time jump is not something I enjoy

I can't get into this one. I feel nothing for the characters and I don't really care if they're together or not. I don't care about the plot at all and I feel like the writing is very telling rather than showing.
