This is the first book I have read in this series which is a good thing as it just so happens to be the first book in this series. OMG. I really loved the slap stick humor mixed with sarcastic banter that Ysabel and Remy had with one another. Both of them could take it as good as they gave it. The one scene where Lucifer has to scold them like children was funny. They were acting kind of childish. However, their witty banter is what kept things entertaining. Plus, the sexual tension that was building between them as well.

Ysabel is a fire ball. Which made me like her instantly. Remy thought he was "all that and a bag of chips". Ok, so he was when it came to these two having sex. Yet, it was fun to see him brought down a peg or two by Ysabel. I have read several hell themed books but I do have to say that this book has become one of my favorite top ten books. If you are in the mood for some laughs, you need no look any further than this book. The only thing hotter than hell is the sex.

My most recommended, and gifted, story.

Though I’ve read this story multiple times, it’s still laugh out loud funny to me. The banter, side characters, entertaining pets, and sexy times make this book one I’ve recommended to others too many times to count. I really dislike womanizers, and struggled with Remy through most the story, but he redeems himself so well that there’s no doubting his love for the fiery witch. And Philippe! Love that Cat!

This is one pretty damn cool romance story. The organiser of the whole ordeal was just, well, hilarious. I loved the characters: they have spunk!

I absolutely love an Eve Langlais book! Her wicked sense of humor and witty dialogue always has me laughing and blushing!

A DEMON AND HIS WITCH is the first book in the Welcome to Hell series. This series is ultimately about Lucifer (Satan, Lord of Darkness, The Devil) who has lost much of his army with the last war he was in. Many of his forces were either destroyed or switched sides. He needs to rebuild his army and wants smart, magical super warriors so he can kick ass in his next battle and not look bad in front of his brother, God. So Lucifer devises a plan to get powerful beings to fall in love and mate in order to produce even powerful offspring for his army.

Enter the first victims, er…I mean lucky couple. Ysabel is working as Satan’s assistant. She’s a witch who was burned at the stake almost 500 years ago. Before she died, she made a deal with Lucifer to get revenge on those responsible in exchange for 500 years of servitude. Ysabel’s time is almost up when something terrible happens that traps her into her contract longer until the problem is resolved.

In order to solve her problem, Lucifer gives her a demon tracker to help her. Remy is a notorious ladies demon and with just one panty-dropping smile, he can get anything he wants…except Ysabel’s affections. Ysabel knows his type and refuses to ever trust her heart to a man again. Will Ysabel resist Remy’s charms while completing her tasks and finally get free of Lucifer’s clutches or will she lose her sanity and her heart to a notorious womanizer who’s determined to make Ysabel his mate?

I totally loved the book. Yes, there is talk of Lucifer and demons and Hell, but this is really a light-hearted, ridiculously funny story that will have you laughing all the way through! Don’t worry; the author doesn’t skimp on the sexytime scenes either. The passion is explosive, the dialogue is hilarious and story will transport you to a crazy world with highly imaginative characters and a plot that will hold you captive until the very end!
