One of my favorite reads. Short and sweet, but engaging with a satisfying ending. Is the story perfect? Nah, the mystery game went on too long and was slightly diluted by the end. But would I read again? Yes (I already have).

I am so glad that I took the opportunity to re-read this excellent story after finding it at the library. It was one of my favorite reads in elementary school, and it absolutely still holds up. I remembered a lot of the story, but there were still plenty of minor details that managed to take me by surprise again!

I am glad I finally picked this book up. It was a great read. A group of people who don’t realize they are connected are all called into the reading of the Westing will. In order to receive their inheritance they need to solve a puzzle as to who murdered Mr. Westing.
