TLDR: It is a wonderful mystery novel. There are tense situations and you may have strong emotions throughout the volume, but you will likely enjoy it if you are reading it for a mystery. I would recommend this book to anyone though, as I feel it is a very enjoyable read.

Longer Review: The book is solid. I read it pretty much straight through in about an hour (and I only intended to sit down and read for about 30 minutes). The volume does a wonderful job at developing its main characters. Some of the side characters can seem a bit generic, but the main character is not and I really like this. I do think that since there are multiple volumes the characters may be developed more in later volumes. The volume does an excellent job at keeping readers on their toes and naturally moves the story so that you are interested in "what happens next".
I also really enjoy that this story moves the reader to ask questions. I don't want to dive to into those questions (so as to avoid potential spoilers), but I do feel that it is good to push readers in this way.
One minor note, there is a bit of violence. I wouldn't say it is anything to be super concerned about, maybe like PG13? I just thought I mention it in case that is something you worry about. When I first read it, solid 5 stars. I loved it. Now, I would be between a 4.5 and a 5, but that still rounds up to a 5. Overall, solid book and I would recommend it.

Final Review/Analysis of Series: This series is very well executed. There are some volumes that are not as well done as others, but with the whole picture and all the volumes together you get the entire story of "Monster." This story is an excellent mystery. It builds suspense with each volume and truly tells a story of Nihilism vs Love. I would recommend this series.

Later on, there are some scenes with nude women and violent scenes though. I feel that I must inform any prospective readers about this before they dive in. That would be the only reason I would not recommend the series, otherwise the quality and content is excellent.

Very well done combo of psychological and philosophical thriller. Dealing with intricate moral dilemmas about how complexity of our motives around moral judgements, the magna presents characters who's less admirable motives are more honest motives. Plot twists galore, fast paced and probing. I found it a little too direct and with too many "shockers". But overall very good example of adult magna with sophisticated themes and a challenging perspective.

THE GOOD: Pas grand chose.

THE BAD: Je n’ai pas adoré ce manga. Il est très politique et manque d’action.

THE UGLY: À ressayer peut-être quand je serai beaucoup plus mature…
