This was a recommendation someone gave to me at a party. When I started reading it, I thought it was a little cheesy, super YA romance like Twilight minus the vampires. About a third of the way through though, you start to put together the back story and while still very YA romance-y (which can't lie, I enjoy sometimes), there's an interesting and sad story that goes along. Good YA summer read!

Wow. I felt every single emotion while reading this one which is what I’ve come to expect from Hoover.
wasn't this an emotional rollercoaster. i haven't read something this heartbreaking in a while. the amount of trauma they go through in this should not be allowed. did it have some weird and unnecessary scenes? absolutely. but it's colleen hoover so i expect that at this point. still a solid 4 star read.
It took me a little while to really get into this book...but once I did, I couldn't put it down!
the plot twist made me gasp ngl…didn’t expect that at all. at one point it was giving wattpad plot line
