wasn't this an emotional rollercoaster. i haven't read something this heartbreaking in a while. the amount of trauma they go through in this should not be allowed. did it have some weird and unnecessary scenes? absolutely. but it's colleen hoover so i expect that at this point. still a solid 4 star read.
It took me a little while to really get into this book...but once I did, I couldn't put it down!

First, LOVE the window. I always wished I had a window to climb in and out of like that. I love that Six was right there with her. So awesome.

This story touched me in a way that I can't even describe. My love for Holder and Sky is deep. So deep it hurts. Hard to believe they are only 18.

I also have to say a big huge fat THANK YOU to you Colleen for adding the sex abuse hotline for RAINN and the suicide prevention hotline. I have read too many books about these subjects that don't include hotlines and it rips me apart because you don't know who is reading your book. Just to let you know, you helped someone today. I know it deep down in my bones that after reading Hopeless someone called and asked for help. So THANK YOU!

My eyes are burning from tears. The pain that Sky blocked. The pain that Holder went through with Les. The pain that they both had to endure again because Holder saw Sky in a grocery store. The pain that only intensified because it was so much worse than they thought. The story is good. The writing is good. But seriously, there is some really messed up stuff going on here. Yes, the big secret is messed up but I was more concerned about the early dynamic between Sky and Holder. There were some really creepy control issues. Sky completely allowed herself to be dominated by the boys around her. I know much of it was because of the past of the "BIG SECRET" but still. Pretty creepy. Also whenever she and Holder were together she kept talking about how much she loved this "boy". Not a man but a boy. Ick. Get therapy, seriously. All of you. I sound like a conservative old woman but I guess that's why time, experience and wisdom get you.

Nothing like coho. Super readable, engaging. A toucH YA, but I couldn’t put it down.
Amazing! Reading the beginning made you want to read more. I couldn't put it down, it was keeping me on the edge of the couch literally. The surprises and I did kinda figured one surprise toward the end, but overall it was Brilliant! It was so written well, it was like i felt every emotion the characters were going through. Its a MUST Read.
