Wow. This one has quickly made its way into my top 3 of colleen Hoover books. It has a little mix of everything and at one point had my jaw on the floor. Definitely worth the read!

Uau! UAU!

challenging dark emotional hopeful sad tense fast-paced

Flaws of characters a main focus: Yes

I love that Colleen writes so realistically, but there was still something I felt was missing in this book. Not sure what.

My heart can't take just how much of a gut-punch this book was. I loved it. But it made me really upset. And I only got upset because I cared very deeply. My mom found me in my room after "the big scene" just curled up in a ball on my bed sobbing. But then I finished it this morning and I'm overwhelmed with love for this book. It's really visceral but it's really wonderful. So great. So so so great.

Absolutely incredible book! The synopsis on the back of the book doesn't at all prepare you for the rollercoaster ride inside! Suspenseful and heart wrenching. One of my top reads of this year for sure.

Let me just say this book will give you all the feels. I laughed, I cried and I swooned. Two words: Dean Holder!

Colleen Hoover is such a fantastic writer. One of the best books I have read!

Piętnastoletnia ja byłaby zrozpaczona tym, że nie dałam tej książce 5 ⭐

Okay this one, was a surprise. The beginning is meh okay, but once the shit hits the fan, it feels too intense. I wanted so much to move away from the story, to take a break at times but at the same time I needed to know. I needed to confirm that what I thought she had been through wasn’t true. Sadly, yep, exactly what I was expecting it. And I didn't even googled the book. I thought this was going to be bdsm or something like that? idk why (well, mostly because of Holder behavior at the beginning). It so isn't.

The story has some points that are really wtf like :
Spoiler-Holder is a bit stalker in the beginning, and the stalker jokes are really uncomfortable.
-Who the hell gives her id just to prove your real name to a guy who you never met, who is hot and makes you both feel butterflies aaand uncomfortable/scared in seconds
-Who lets boys get through her window anyway. Common. I was always expecting something to go horribly wrong

Some quotes for you:
"Fuck all the firsts, Sky. The only thing that matters to me with you are the forevers"

“I want you to remember who you are, despite the bad things that are happening to you. Because those bad things aren’t you. They are just things that happen to you. You need to accept that who you are, and the things that happen to you, are not one and the same.”

Overall, it was okay. Not the romance book I was expecting but yeah.

Also there should be a warning in the description about abuse. I didn't looked at the tags, so, yeah. It kind of is handled fine? Some messed up scenes. It gets really intense. So, read it if you think you can stomach it.

update: changing another rating 8 months later again, what's new. definitely rated this too high previously for a book that was honestly kinda shit.

the whole “i live you” thing was so corny
