Words can't describe how much I loved this book. I didn't want to put it down.
emotional sad medium-paced

One of my favorites of 2013

kind of slow at first but the twists made my jaw physically drop

I thought reading a love story about kids in high school would bore me but wowza I was wrong. Such a sweet + heartbreaking story all in one.

Deeply emotional but one of the best I've read in a long time!!!

unexpected

First off I love Colleen Hoover. Her books are always winners to me. I love that even with most of them being “teen romances” the stories are always different and unexpected. This book took a turn that I was not anticipating and I loved it. I was hooked right away and wanted to spend every minute reading it! Def recommend it to anyone.

I normally only read thrillers but I’m trying to broaden my book choices. This was a very good middle ground between thrillers and romance. It had a little mystery and suspense to counter balance the romance. Overall it was a good book. I wouldn’t rave about it but it was easy and quick to read

So… This book was not good. Honestly, it felt like the author wanted to tackle so many issues but had little knowledge of the actual issues. The characters were bad. The heroine is basically the girl that screams, “I’m not like most girls! I'm unique!” While being almost exactly like most girls (which is okay). Also, there was unnecessary slut-shaming. The hero is a walking red flag but somehow it is okay because he is good looking and he can't help his actions because of trauma. Needless to say that the romance was also bad. Nothing really happens for the first 200 pages and the ending left a few questions like, will the main characters be getting much-needed therapy in the future?? There were some good scenes but the bad outweighed the good in this book.
