This one left me incredibly disappointed. There was so much shock factor, and it all seemed unnecessary and over the top.
More than anything, I can't get past how much Rae did to support the guys—hand-making flyers, finding them gigs, calling record companies, etc—and then, the second they get news about a record deal, the guys ditch Rae in the middle of a parking lot to go party with "some girls" that Rock knows. To top it all off, Ezra himself gives Rae his car keys and tells her to drive herself home, fully aware that she can't even legally drive yet. This behavior felt wildly out of character for him, and the strong sense of disappointment it gave me made it hard to understand how anyone could proceed to find his character likable.
Of course, this is just one of many, many things that made me go "wtf" while reading this story, but it's the one that really turned me off and gave me the ick, especially since Ezra's explanation for this during his 'redemption arc' was simply that he was just an idiot back then. Wow. Ground-breaking stuff. Obviously, that explanation didn't cut it for me. But then again, the explanation for just about everything else in this book didn't cut it for me either.

I wish I could rate this ♾️ stars … I truly do not have the words to describe how AMAZING this book was . I was pulled in from the very start and would not put it down until it ended . & then I cried when it was over.
The way I actually felt like my heart was physically breaking throughout this book , the emotional rollercoaster , BROTHERS BEST FRIEND , ROCKSTAR ROMANCE.

That was ok until 85%.
Not good, not wow. But ok.
And then, it was the most chaotic, unrealistic ending ever.
I lost 4 days of my life reading about an enemies to lovers book with an abused FMC, an a-hole MMC and a weird reunion full of “I bought a house for us to live in it 3 years ago despite our relationship was over 6 years ago & we didn’t see or talk to each other because you hated me and I was being a rockstar”.
Out of the blue, the father magically appears in the other side of the world in front of a hotel room in 3am to r_pe on line his daughter (wait? what?) and died castrated (ok then).
And 4 months later, they are getting engaged in the middle of a concert and getting pregnant right after.
I was laughing so hard in disbelief, it was indecent. How could anyone let that happen?
And for the record, Portugal is near the Atlantic Ocean. Not the Pacific. That was awkward.
