Not gonna lie I thought this book was going to be a cheesy holiday read, but I could not have been more wrong!! Holly is a hopeless romantic despite her shitty dating history and a TERRIBLE ex. Kai on the other hand has been scorned, made to think he’s unloveable (I’m looking at you sorry excuses for parents smh) and sworn off love for good reason. Listen I am a TRUE lover girl at heart and this book checked all of the boxes.

I loved this book, one of the best Christmas romances I've read. Kai and Holly are so well suited their story is well worth a read. It's cosy, funny and a little emotional perfect for the Christmas season.

So far, the worst Brittainy's writing for me. They didnt convince me, i felt like the book was shallow, like there were no feelinhs between them, didnt get the sparks. So sad because she is one of my favourite authors ever.

This read felt like watching He’s Just Not That Into You for the first time. It was very entertaining, but I can’t really see myself coming back to this. (3.5 stars)

While the writing wasn’t perfect, my enjoyment of this novel was very high! Cute holiday romance novel with interesting themes about family relations and self love. I really loved this book!
