C’était mignon, mais c’était boring.
Nan, c’est pas ça, c’était mignon, mais le style d’écriture était beaucoup trop niais pour moi.
Le plot est m foi très classique, bien que bien exécutionné, mais c,était un peu trop mélodramatique

Je sais s, j’ai trouvé ça bâclé. Tout l’épisode MJ avec le brother qui accepte qu’il ait date sa soeur ? Nan mais nan.
Sinon les deux étaient quand même bien chou, l’histoire se lisait fort facilement, j’ai bien aimé qu’il n’y ait que très peu de smut (j’ai eu peur au début) et que ça soit principalement du fluff

2 ⭐️ I’m a little surprised at the high reviews… I liked the storyline, the banter dialogue was good and the spice was spicin’ but the writing surrounding it all seemed amateur. The author repeats things constantly, I guess for emphasis? But they do it so much it doesn’t seem natural, and often end a sentence and began the next with the same word- just a couple examples: “… emo music. Emo music…” “Michael? Michael.” In the second chapter they wrote “one thousand dollars worth of booze” three times. It just kept taking me out of the story because it felt clunky.
Some things didn’t make sense either… why would this “thousand dollars worth of booze” be delivered to his apartment, instead of his restaurant? How did the restaurant have good reviews when it wasn’t open yet? If he was holding her against the wall how did his hands also rub her back? Hovering over her but also able to take her shirt off? The first night together his snoring was so bad she slept somewhere else, but every other night together was fine?

This book really surprised me. I thought this would've been a quick and cute romance but this turned out to be so much more. Definitely a highlight for this month!

My fav meet-ugly turned into a meet-cute. I will for sure put these within my top books list. This book just makes you love, love. It makes you smile from ear-to-ear, I’m literally Holly when it comes to anything about romance/love. I really enjoyed this book.
