"Why is the world what it is and why do I live here and where am I going next?"
Learn what a magician knows and it's not magic anymore
Ignorance is essential to maintain a sense of wonder with the world

"Why am I here! Answer me Messiah."
If you insist,
It's a good movie, Don. Sh

"My life? A good movie? With all this chaos and suffering?"
Why would anybody choose a bad lifetime, a horror movie? They not only come to the horror movie for fun, they know it is going to be a horror movie when they walk in
You knew roughly what this plot would be about before you started. You are actively an actor, camera man, producer and director of this movie of yours. And you know what's amazing? You can opt out. Any time.

"How should I direct this 'plot' Messiah?"
We are all. Free. To do. Whatever. We want. To do

"Without thinking of others surely?"
Whatever actions you ever take should be for your own perceived benefits. So long as you can deal with the consequences.
We are game-playing, fun-having creatures, we are the otters of the universe. We cannot die, we cannot hurt ourselves any more than illusions on the screen can be hurt. But we can believe we're hurt, in whatever agonizing detail we want

"Is this the truth?"
Proceed with caution dear friend,
Everything in this book may be wrong

Ah 5 stars!

This book is a page turner. The writing was impeccable, the plot came full circle, LITERALLY. The philosophical insights were mind blowing and definitely life changing.
A short book I recommend to all.

This book was recommended to my wife by a good friend of hers who loves it, in turn my wife suggested I should give it a read. All I’ll say is, being a lifelong jaded and disgruntled Marxist definitely didn’t help when approaching subject matter like this

I was given this book by my dad after telling him about The Egg by Andy Weir. I had high hopes but I couldn't get into it. I almost quit after the handwritten section but after reading the reviews about it being life-changing I continued. I really enjoyed the quotes from the messiahs book, I will definitely go back and ponder on those but over all it fell short for me.

Hokey-pokey and New Age drivel.
