I read this book, because it has been assigned for my daughter to read before school starts. I always try to read whatever she is reading in order to have a discussion with her about it. This one will be a tough one to discuss. I wasn't very fond of the style of writing. At times, I lost track of which character was speaking. I could not relate to any of the characters. Definitely not one I will be recommending.
This book is great for quelling existential dread, highly recommend.

I used to read this book every New Year's Day but life got busy. I like the ideas in this book and the way I stop and think and re-read parts of it over and over again.
how is this a book? it markets itself as being a great way of looking at life. my only take away was "your friends will know you better in the first 5 minutes of meeting than your acquaintances will in a thousand years.". i miss you stinkalow.
