I was gifted this book by one of my mutual followers on Tiktok and this is one of their favourite books and I can completely see why. The Master & Apprentice style learning about the world and perspective and reality was superbly done. The Question & Answer format was compelling and interesting. I understand the blue feather and it's significance now. This book is a very philosophical, perspective altering style book. I appreciate it for what it is. I will be reading more by this author as their way of thinking and views on life are intriguing. I want to see more of what they have to offer. Overall an interesting that I put up there with the Midnight Library by Matt Haig.

"your friends will know you better in the first minute you meet than your acquaintances will know you in a thousand years."
"you are led through your lifetime by the inner learning creature, the playful spirit being that is your real self."
"the bond that links your true family is not one of blood, but of respect and joy in each other's life."
"argue for your limitations and sure enough, they're yours."
"every person, all the events of your are there because you have drawn them there. what you choose to do with them is up to you."
"in order to live free and happily, you must sacrifice boredom. it is not always an easy sacrifice."
"don't be dismayed at good-byes. a farewell is necessary before you can meet again. and meeting again, after moments or lifetimes, is certain for those who are friends."
this was not a life-changing book for me, personally. but i love a book on philosophy and existentialism and this book is full of that. i enjoyed the conversations between richard and don. as evident above, most of the messiah's messages are very quotable. i agreed with some and found most at least thought-provoking.
could i not have done without all the mechanical jargon and specific talk of airplanes and mechanics? absolutely. did i raise my eyebrows when it was clear from page 1 that the main character is really just the author, from the first name to the love of planes? i sure did! but you can't say that richard bach does not hide that the philosophy presented in his book is just that: his. as stated, "everything in this book may be wrong."

- is this the real life?
- is this just fantasy?
Earth-, Water-, Fire-, Air-bending? That was yesterday. Today, we are reality-benders.
Believe, and it will be.
Imagine.
This universe of ideas
Is ours
To make
Everything is a choice. An idea. An intention.
And, of course, we reap what we sow.
- no escape from reality...
IT'S ALL ILLUSIONS, WAKE UP! SEE THROUGH THE ILLUSION!
It's all imagined. "Where your thinking is, there is your experience."
We're in this movie for two reasons:
#1: Fun
#2: Learning
So better choose these! No need for misery and ignorance.
It's in our hands.
Imagination is Everything.
... Now talk about Expansion and Empowerment...
... And Freedom...
... But in the end,
- nothing really matters...
Well
Also, everything matters :)
This is it:
"I allow the world to live as it chooses, and I allow me to live as I choose."
Yes.
What an absolutely incredible book! Thank you for coming my way. Thank you Kjell for bringing it into my life.

This book was a gift from someone I call my soulmate. It has been one of the best gifts I've ever received and one of my wishes come true.
The book itself is wonderful, and the fact that that special someone gave it to me is a total plus to it.
Definitely one of my favorite readings now

One of my favorite books that I have read many times. The first time I was given the idea that we are only limited by what we think we can't do.
