Boy, I did not enjoy this. It felt like the author drew tropes out of a hat and tried to form a story around them. And the character development was all over the place.

As a reader of Indian descent, it's refreshing and comforting to read love stories that contain biryani and parathas, nosy aunties, glitzy lehengas and the typical challenges faced by desi girls everywhere. Enjoyed all Sara Desai's books.

This book was so perfect and cute. I swooned the whole time. I also couldn't stop laughing. Liam and Daisy make such a cute couple. First of all his name is Liam and who doesn't love that name. Gosh he is so hot! Daisy was just so perfect for him. This book just made me way too happy. If you need a pick me up this is the book for you.

This was a cute rom com but it was not the best that I have read. Im having a hard time figuring out why I didn't like it as much as I thought I did. Maybe it was the weird obsession over marvel or the fact that it started out so strong and then it was over like that. I felt like there was not enough chemistry between them to sell the relationship to me. However all the food mentioned in the book sounded amazing! But there were just some parts that I found very awkward, like all the furniture in the room breaking. That doesn't happen like it was written and then no-one to question it? Very odd to me. I had a hard time finishing this book, I honestly almost didn't but I don't quit reading a book. I just can't put my finger on exactly what I didn't like. Its not the worst book but its not the best. If you want to read it give it a shot because you may like it but if you don't then don't worry about it.

I was looking for a romantic easy read after the few mystery books I had been reading. Definitely a good choice! It was easy to follow, funny,a little naughty,

Loved this book so much.

This book gave me all the warm fuzzies. I think I love it even more because it’s set in San Francisco where I grew up so it felt familiar. I loved watching Daisy grow into herself and could feel the chemistry between her and Liam. The banter was top tier and overall it left me with a smile on my face and a contented “aww” when I closed the last page.
