In 2019, 3 teenagers are chosen through a lottery to head to the moon with NASA astronauts. What NASA doesn't tell anyone is that in the moon-travel heyday, some unexplainable stuff happened during the various missions, and they need to get back up there (hence, the "teens win the chance of a lifetime" lottery... get the public psyched about space travel in a time of budget deficits). So Mia from Norway, Antoine from France, and Midori from Japan make their way to the moon and to some some incredibly creepy stuff . Character development is definitely not the strong point in this novel, but the book is certainly a page-turner, especially if you like your space travel on the spooky and suspenseful side.

Really cool idea, actually creepy and disturbing, incredibly atmospheric and a cool layout with the authors use of images. However, I don't think the end made sense. Which sucks. Because it was such a good idea!
A fast-paced, creepy and surprising read. I enjoyed reading it! There's really not much else to say about this without spoiling anything.
Do not read this book at night. I did that and I couldnt sleep. This is such an amazing and well done novel but JEEZ I almost peed my pants about 10 times while reading it. If you are a person who enjoys horror novels, you will love this book. I did, however, have some problems with the ending, it seemed very unfulfilled and I had so many questions remaining. But over all, very enjoyable.

I was 41% into the book when I realized it wasn't for me. I debated whether to keep reading or just DNF it, but I ended up pushing through to the end. Now, I regret it. I should have just put it down and picked up something else.
The book starts off painfully slow but picks up the pace around the halfway mark. The plot is pretty flat and things go downhill fast without giving you a chance to understand what's happening, which really takes the fun out of it. The characters feel emotionless and flat. Even when a loved one dies, there's no remorse, and every decision they make feels stupid. Some characters are killed off too quickly without giving them a chance to do anything significant in the story.
The last few chapters have predictable plot twists, but I did like the ending.
Overall, this book was a disappointment for me. If you're considering reading it, be prepared for a slow start and a plot that doesn't quite deliver. Personally, I wish I had moved on to something more engaging.

I really didn’t like this. I wanted more detail at the beginning, the kids prep for space and we hear practically nothing about it, and I wanted more detail at the end, but everything is wrapped up so quickly. I enjoyed the last third, but again so much was glossed over and it just wasn’t enough to save it. There was very little character development too, the most was Mia but that’s about all we got there. I liked the little bit of scary and wish we’d gotten more of it!
I couldn't put this book down--I read it in one day. It starts a bit slowly, but that all the info from the first part is necessary or the second half wouldn't have made sense. Then, about halfway through, the action starts and doesn't stop for the rest of the story. It creeped me out like nothing I've read in quite a while. The ending was awesome, but I would have liked more details about how it all went down. Overall, this is a fun, fast-paced thriller that should please anyone who likes stuff like "The Twilight Zone."
