The Black Witch series is an absolute gem! The characters feel so real, the magic is captivating, and the romance pulls you in completely. It’s the kind of series that sticks with you long after you’ve turned the last page. Definitely one of my top reads this year. I can’t recommend it enough!

this book was incredible, including the new advancements at the end of the book :)!!! The character development is absolutely excellent! I am so excited for the next one!

This took me ages. There were some fantastic action scenes, but there was a lot of romantic fluff that could have been cut. I really think this should have been the final book in the series.
I was bored with the pairing of couples, it was so repetitive. The same language used. Everyone is burning up for everyone else. I would have been fine with just Elloren and Tristan's relationships. The way the writing tense kept changing really annoyed me too. It was all over the place and kept pulling me out of the story.

Decided to DNF after 150ish pages. I skimmed to about 180-190 and I think it was all Trystan/Voth POV, which tbf IS a story line I'd be interested in, if the rest of the book could hold up or if the story progressed in any meaningful way. Like maybe the Trystan stuff should have been another in-between novella? Give them room to breathe? But like.... what's happening in the main story??
Ugh the first two books were so promising, even with their issues. But it just totally fell apart with the billion POVs. I was trying not to let it get to me and ride it out, but there are too many good books out there and I don't want this reading momentum to crap out because I'm slogging through this.

Amazing build up to the ultimate war that is coming. Loved the different POV chapters. Heartbroken over a character loss and shocked with so many reveals. What an amazing way to end this book. So excited to read the last one!
