SOOO GOOD!

Although, there was a lot of off-shoots and side stories I didn’t care for. The whole love festival could have been done without and instead used to forward the war story and conclude it in this book.

Still good. Glad that Elloren is finally embracing her power.

It became tedious that Elloren, being the most formidable heroine, was leaning into the distressed female role.

It was a refreshing twist to have her become the Forest Guardian. And it was nice to learn the history of the Dryads and guardnarians.

slow-paced

Was enjoying the book but had way too many side character romance chapters that bogged the story down. Hard to keep reading but once through all the filler there was still some interesting parts. A bit heavy handed and not my favorite in the series but okay.
dark tense medium-paced

This one was a little bit more filler than necessary. I’m excited for the next in the series but really hoping that one wraps everything up.
