Of all the Fables volumes this is absolutely my favourite.

How could u turn flycatcher into such a king only heard of in legends?
How could u destroy the kingdom so utterly and absolutely easily?
Its amazing i loved it.
It all made perfect sense.
Flycatcher looked like a prophet from the books sent from a god.
But wait a minute is he really sent from a god or from frau totenkinder?!
hmm hmm frau is proving time and again that she is playing a major role in this epic journey
If u keep it up this way it will only get better and better.
Now how can u top this ?!!!

I've given a lot of these five stars but this was a real standout.
I really enjoyed the story of the rise of Flycatcher. I didn’t expect him to get such an amazing arc in those series
I woukd give this 10 stars if I could.
I love the Fables series, but this volume was by far the best story. It's got great characters, heroic deeds, a story of redemption.
The story of Flycatcher is so masterfully told. It got me so emotionally invested I even shed a few tears at appropriate moments.
Can highly recommend the whole series.

Flycatcher is awesome!
Sometimes, the most unassuming of characters have the greatest of stories. I knew that Flycatcher was the frog prince, but seeing him transition from lowly janitor to highest king was one of the best arcs in Fables. And the way he handled thing was masterfully done! I love it!

I adored this one! Flycatcher has always been one of my favorite Fable characters and I've been dying to get more of his back story. Flycatcher has been wallowing in misery unsure of how to go about living not knowing whether his family is alive or dead in the homelands. Deep in his heart, he knows it's not good. When Bufkin accidentally breaks the Forsworn Knight his spirit is set free and starts to guide Flycatcher. Together they sneak into the Homelands and created the strongest, purest little kingdom that is fast becoming a huge thorn in the adversary's side. Go Flycatcher go!
