This book is quite informative, although it is a bit sad. I’m glad that
Henry didn’t end up dying,
as I think I would have thrown the book and sobbed. It was a bit darker than what I was looking for, but I know it’s also the facts, and I’m glad the author didn’t try to shine the turd of the situation.

Overall, it was an interesting look at the history and potential future of TB. As well as a part memoir of the author, and a biography of Henry.

Narrator Rating: 5.0 stars
The author did a great job narrating the book.

A new book by #1 New York Times bestselling author and internet sensation John Green is always an event to look forward to, and this slim, fascinating volume is absolutely no exception. Described by BookPage as an "exceptional combination of memoir, medical history, and cultural analysis," Green's latest explores the widespread impact of tuberculosis — the world's deadliest infectious disease — not only across history but through one boy's modern story. This one touched my heart (yes, I cried on the train) and invigorated me and hopefully many other readers to search out ways to make a difference. Everything Is Tuberculosis is the nonfiction book everyone is talking about — and I'm so glad I joined the conversation.

challenging sad

Mercifully brief, yet far longer than it needed to be. It's the vtuber patter that rankles, I think. Swaying between horrifying statistics & facts then spinning to a theatric interpretation of a real person's real poverty & illness. Like & subscribe! The important message of the inequality of tuberculosis nearly lost amisdt the emotional drama. I know Green is trying to help, using the privilege & platform for good- but I can also see how this book is going to make people mad, since privilege & platform are the lens with which this terrible thing is viewed

Some references would be so helpful & add credibility
