Read To Me by S.Rena & BL Mute

I really enjoyed reading this book by 1 new and 1 not so new arthur. When I first started reading the book it drew me in and had me turning pages to see what was happening next. Arloe is the spunky booknerd/bookstore owner who's about to have Easton Ciccone so twisted up feeling thing's he's never felt that he'll have to choose. Just what that is well you'll have to read it and find out.
He's just 1 of the 8 brother's of the Ciccone Family who has a mystery to be uncovered in this book as do the others, so I'm hoping there will be more books to come.

A Savage Curse by Olivia Fox

I have decided after a couple of books, I am not sure about this writer's work. I felt like the dialogue was childish, or cartoonish. Maybe stereotypical would be a better word.

This story was not as detailed as I would have thought.. Did Eva ever tell Roberto why he found her the way he did? His mother couldn't look her in the eye. Why? The sisters were completely excepting with no hesitation. Eva was used as a bargaining chip. Was there any resolution to that situation? Wouldn't someone in Roberto's position have her thoroughly investigated? Whatever happened with Eva's grandmother? And what about all of these rituals? What's the explanation other than they were ancient family rituals?

This left me with way too many unanswered questions.

I voluntarily read and reviewed the Advanced Reader Copy of this book received via Booksprout.

Exhilarating, chilling, dark and forbidden, this preview of Calix and Thalia's story is impossible to resist! Five stars for Adelaide Forrest's highly captivating contribution to the Tangled Sheets Anthology.

Review is for Dreams of the Vengeful by Adelaide Forrest:

Calix and Thalia...
We meet Calix briefly in Shielded Wrongs by Adelaide Forrest. And I 100% pulled up that book up and read each little part he was in before I sat down to read this story. Any friend/comrade of Rafe's is gonna bring it to the table! If you like them dark, nasty, hot AF sexy alpahole for the male main character, Adelaide is your girl!
And if you fit in the above category and also love mafia, arranged marriage, age gap with some major stalker vibe, Calix is the MAN for you!
I can't wait to read the rest of Calix and Thalia's story!

I am working my way through the rest of this anthology but there are several authors in this book that I LOVE so I know that Calix and Thalia's story won't be the only book I love from Tangled Sheets!

Tangled Sheets is filled with wonderful passion stories. Each story has it’s own twist and turn. Most of story’s are going to lead us on dark journey.

My review for Read To Me by Sade Rena and BL. Mute. This a mafia romance. This Easton and Arloe story. Easton is a part of the Ciccone family. He was raised to do anything for the family until he meets Arloe. She is book store owner who is feisty and has this incredible chemistry with Easton. They bring the better out of each other. Their journey together is incredible and dark.

Not only do I recommend this book with all this incredible authors. I hope you don’t miss your chance to read this incredible stories.

Spitfire is a book written by Sara Cate and is a reverse-age gap, bully romance that is a part of the Tangle Sheets anthology that is releasing on July 13th. I'm not usually a huge fan of age gap romances, however, I really enjoyed this one. I couldn't put it down.

This story features Everly and Cullen. Everly is a journalist and on an assignment for one of her classes, she finds something out about a guy and he ends up going away for life. He has a wife and son. But Everly doesn't really put much more thought into it.

Now 8 years later she is taking a break from journalism and teaching college. She notices the kid that was the son of the guy she put away is in her class. Cullen is now 18 and not a kid anymore. Cullen is out for revenge on her. She took away his family, and he has had a rough life growing up since she came into his life.

As Cullen is forcing Everly to do things, she starts to fall for him. Even though she knows it's wrong because of his age. As their bond grows secrets and lies from the past come out. How will it affect their relationship? What happens when Everly is sick of the way Cullen is treating her? I liked this book a lot and really enjoyed getting to know these characters.

Savage Curse by Olivia Fox
This is a quick and fast paced heat romance. There is BDSM and other kinky elements. This is a bit darker compared to other works by Olivia Fox. Very well written and enjoyable.
