the sexual tension between jude and cardan in this book...simply unbeatable. ugh i’m so excited for queen of nothing i can’t breathe. i rlly don’t know what i’m gonna do w myself when this series ends...

OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD. I CANT STOP SCREAMING. HOW WAS THIS SOMEHOW EVEN BETTER THAN THE CRUEL PRINCE??? i can’t deal. that was the best ending ever i am so shook rn i need the third book IMMEDIATELY. i love jude so, so much. she is the most complex female character i have ever read and i love her. i LOVE cardan, oh my god sjdjndndndn. and i love holly black, but i also hate her a little bit for making me wait so long for book 3. AHHHH.

4.5/5 ⭐️ rounded up! Another great installment in the folk of the air trilogy! There’s a lot of anger, manipulation, court politics, angst, deceit, but flowing throughout the story is the dark whimsical vibe of faerie which I think is pretty captivating. Again, the YA and political aspects are not for me, but I still really enjoyed this book! I ate it up. And that ending! I was SHOOK! I was so glad I had book 3 already in my Libby loans so I could start it immediately.
