I should've seen this coming

I'm glad I didn't guess the plot twist because that was SO GOOD

Like crazy good

I. FRICKIN. LOVE. CARDEN.
I already liked him in The Cruel Prince
But holy shit he's so freaking charming!!!!!

And Jude is probably my favourite female character ever!
She's so strong, clever and I just liked her so much.
Much more than in The Cruel Prince.

Honestly this book was just INCREDIBLE from start to finish.
Defiantly one of my favourites, and probably it's going to be in the top 3 best books I've read this year.

THAT ENDING!!!!!
You'd think how the hell would it come even close to The Cruel Prince ending
but it might surpassed it even! This is what I call great writing.
I swear I was shaking with excitement!
Like I couldn't stop reading because I was so invested but was freaking out a little bit every time I realised there was not much till the end... I needed more, I still need more.
Thank you dear Holly Black for this gem. I sincerely love you.

And I have to mention the romance... boy was it everything I hoped for and more.
Again, Thank you Holly Black.

I NEED THE QWEEN OF NOTHING RIGHT THIS MOMENT!

I fell in love with this book because it’s written in such a way that keeps your attention also it doesn’t have a lot of romance in it but I believe that is an advantage cause there’s such a strong tension between Jude and cardan that it’s more than enough and the plot twist was everythingggg



Spoilers!!!

OH MY GOD when he “laughed with them” I wanted to actually kill him but other than that it was really cute and hot that cardan in totally head over heals for Jude and that he asks her to marry him!! (And then exiles her for funsies but I’ll ignore that) Also the mystery and betrayal is really breathtaking in this book
