I didn’t realize this was book two in a series. But I didn’t realize that until half way through. The narrator’s made it easy to just jump right into the story. If you are looking for a spicy paranormal romance this is for you!

DNF'd at 80% so no rating. I don't know how but the writing worsened (more spelling mistakes, odd sentence structures, etc.), and although the concept was intriguing, it lost steam in this one, in MY opinion. Spoiler alert, she spends 60% of this one imprisoned... again... then they were reunited and it was underwhelming. Old me would continue reading for completion's sake, but 2025 me is trying not to waste time on a book she's not enjoying.

Dragging. Too much repetitive dialogue and inner monologues. The plot isn’t enticing enough to keep engagement.
This series is too addictive!! So much fun and so entertaining, plus I love all the characters. Such a hidden gem for the RH world!
