It took me a long time to read but it was worth it. A fantastic range of essays on queer liberation; from queer-centred care homes to asexuality celebrations to rethinking and remaking what it means to go on a Pride march in light of corporate input.

I will definitely delve into the other works by the authors of this essay collection.

Broad range of perspectives with familiar names from fashion and pop culture. About building better quality of life for queer people and attributing considerations of intersectionality as the main driver for change.

A mix. Some really powerful essays.

I think this is a great book for allies or someone wanting a starting point for LGBTQ+ discussions. I admire the range of topics they cover and the diversity of the authors. All of the essays are very readable and short. They cover really important topics. Some are excellent. That said, overall, it didn't have the punch I think it could have had. I think several essays could have been longer to allow the authors to really get into things. Some were a bit repetitive and it felt to me like a lot of it was aimed at informing a straight readership, rather than getting into things.
