Just when I thought I had the book figured out...I was thrown for not one loop...but 2! Excellent read.

This was quick and easy and SUPER fun. Very Jack Reacher. Nothing life changing, but they don’t all have to be, right? I had a blast. #engelbrechtreads2021 #engelbrechtreads

I am a big Harlan Coben fan but unlike his other books, this one did not appeal to me. For most of it's duration, the plot lacked depth. Some characters had feelings which were difficult to align with even the most hypersensitive humans. And there really wasn't enough incentive to keep reading. A good whodunit isn't one where key parts of the tale are revealed only after 75% of the story but one where they are revealed earlier and you totally miss their significance.

I was not a big fan of this book.  Wilde is the boy from the woods but this book is not really about him.  It more about a bunch of unlikable rich people behaving badly. It was easy to read and I did finish. I was not happy it ended without resolving Wilde's story. Now I need to read the 2nd book to find out what should have been in this book.

Fast read. Lots of good twists to the story.

Absolutely loved this story. Gripping from the first page to literally the last.
Well developed characters and multiple stories going on and developing to converge together for the holy crap really moment. It had laugh out loud moments, I do that moments and wow, did that happen moments, making it a wonderful read.

jestem na 154 stornie i na razie odkładam, nie wiem czy do tego wrócę

Interesting easy read…enough that I am now reading the 2nd volume of this series. Characters are a bit one dimensional but the story line keeps it interesting.
