“He looks up, and his whole face transforms. Gone is the scowl, replaced by pure love and adoration. And it’s all for me.”

ARC!

Can I please reread this as the first time?
This book was honestly so good!!! Like this series is honestly top tier, but give me an selfless older dude, and I'm a goner!!
Honestly, this couple is really cute and wholesome, may I say even more than Rhodes and Ryan but not taking Harper and Collin's spot. Sorry, they are still my first loves!!
Emilia is so hard working, she gives her all and related so much to her. Smith is just like her, he only knows hockey so of course he is on the fence of loosing everything he has known.
They both fight hard their attraction in order to protect the other, and that to me made me want to root for them harder!
Now, I cried, maybe I was emotional but I still cried, when he made a decision that impacted them both in the most perfect way made my heart swoon and almost fall of my chest!!

WHERE'S MY SMITH!!! Now, I'm realllyyyy excited about Miller's story, I just know he has the biggest heart of the bunch, and because of that I'm also scared!!

Tropes: Age gap **wants**, sports romance, forced proximity, forbidden romance. Second chance?? kinda.

Emilia and Owen (Smith as he’s known professionally) had a one night stand that felt like so much more. It was cut short when the figured out Emilia’s new job that brought her to Smith’s town was to work for his hockey team. Did I mention she’s also the niece of the assistant coach?

What happens when you ignore your feelings for two years only to hit a point where you can’t, or don’t want to, hide anymore. I love watching them come back together. The side characters continue to be a highlight in this series.

This was also one of the more extreme sports age gap romances and it was handled so well. These two fell in love despite the age, it was mentioned a few times but isn’t the basis of their sorry. Which I loved because age gaps can be hit or miss if the only point of drama is the age. That’s not the case here.

Also, the end was swoon worthy. I feel like we never see an ending like that— I loved it. I can’t wait for Miller’s book this fall!

I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

I loved the crap out of this book. The pining and the tension were top tier. Smith and Emilia are perfect for each other and I’m so glad that Tegan wrote us their HEA. I will obviously continue to read anything she writes!!

Emilia left her home town, to get away. What she didn't expect was running into a sexy stranger to spend the night with. What she didn't expect was one amazing weekend. What she didn't expect was walking into her new job- only to realize who the sexy stranger was.

It was only supposed to be one night, and never seeing each other again. But being the Comets social media manager, and the coach's neice, that one night can never happen again. Even if they can't stop thinking about it.

Smith is one of the oldest on the team. He lives, and breathes hockey, and is married to the game. Meeting Emilia, they had a connection. Until they found out they worked together. When they are thrown together with a project, the tension may end up being too much for either to handle. She's off limits.

This book. It's filled with sexual tension and angst between the characters. The knowing it's wrong, off-limits. They work together. The age gap between them. But will they be able to stay away? Or will the tension snap and the temptation bubble over?

I loved this book. These characters. It was light, and funny, but also steamy. I loved the build up and the dynamic between them. The angst & longing which made everything so much sweeter. This book was just *chef's kiss* 5 ⭐ out of 5⭐ & I cannot wait to see what comes next for the Carolina Comets

I absolutely love this series, Teagan knows how to deliver when it comes to her writing. I haven't found a book that I haven't liked from her yet and this one hasn't disappointed either, but you also can't go wrong with hockey players.
