Simply excellent, absolutely hilarious, but remarkably niche, too. It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy this manga--but it is excellent.

A hilarious manga about Buddah and Jesus taking a break from Sainthood to hang out as normal people on earth in Tokyo Japan. It's about their shenanigans experiencing life on earth but also navigating the difficulties of being roommates with 2 very different personalities. Highly recommend for readers looking for a quick read that is lighthearted and funny.

Jesus and Buddha decide to vacation together on Earth, and hijinks ensue. I haven’t laughed this hard at a manga in so long — it’s delightfully funny and good-hearted. I suppose some might find it sacrilegious, but it did my culturally Christian, functionally atheist heart good.

This series is a rich example of a story jam-packed to the brim with cultural appreciation. Japanese culture meets Buddhism meets Christianity in a humorous slice-of-divine-life adventure...with roommates!
The translation notes at the end of each chapter provide the added context needed to understand a lot of the jokes and references, which I am particularly grateful for. Not only are these notes enlightening, they're educational and served to further bolster my respect and appreciation for the translation and localization process. The team had their hands full with this one, but their hard work really shines through!
Jesus and Buddha have such a cute and wholesome friendship that I can't help smiling every time I read a chapter. Their landlady is delightfully fearless and I love the ridiculous turn the story takes when the yakuza get involved.

It’s a heartwarming (I’ll admit sometimes mundane) read over two iconic religious figures visiting earth as humans. Snippets of biblical and historical examples make the story interesting and the interactions with other characters such as the Yakuza member really bring out the enjoyable factor of this story.
