Another bloody cliffhanger!
EM Moore does them so bloody well!
I’m dying to know what happened to the others!
This was a fast and easy read, as was the first one. Hoping the rest of the series is just as good.

I'm really enjoying this RH, but it's a slow build in a way where I wasn't sure who all was in the harem from the first book. You see more and more of the relationship build. There is a lot going on here and a lot of danger so it's difficult to see how this can all work out well in the end - but I'm intrigued and can't stop binging on this series.

You guys when I first read the prologue of Uppercut Princess, I knew down in my bones that this series was going to be amazing. I just KNEW it! And here we are now with book 2, Arm Candy Warrior, and that feeling I got with book 1? Yeah, I love when I'm right ;)
This is only book 2 and this series has already become a favorite of mine!
Book 2 begins right where we left off and I mean holy crap it's one wild, crazy and insanely sexy ride from beginning to end! I have so many questions, so many theories and SO much love for Johnny.
Yes, I definitely have a favorite. I'm sure some would disagree with me, and that's totally fine! But he is my absolute FAVORITE. Don't get me wrong, all the guys are amazing, I just have a major soft spot for the bad boy who has all that love inside and the potential to be good if only shown how.
I am beyond excited and anxious for book 3, Beautiful Soldier, to release in June. It seems SO far away but at the same time it gives me a couple months to re-read books 1 and 2. Again. <3

More re-reading. I really am enjoying how hostile and possessive all the future members of Kyla's harem are acting. Usually, RH guys have some connection or even a pre-formed group before the heroine comes in to complete things, but these guys would all gladly kill each other at first.
Johnny Rocket continues to be my problematic fave. He's almost cartoonishly possessive and grabby, but since his gang lord father has forbidden him from sleeping with Kyla, his frustration manifests in... unusual ways. Kyla now for sure wants him to be part of her endgame cluster, but at this point, he's making that seem impossible. I kinda love him.

2.5 I think if these books were shorter I would be able to excuse writing but it just basic. Enjoyed a little less then last. But the plot still interesting so onto the next.

The follow up to Upper Cut Princess and boy was the heat turned up.
We pick up right at the ending of book 1 with all hell breaking loose. Kyla doesn't know where her boys are, but ends up at Johnny's. Johnny continues to be a loose piece in the will he or won't he join the harem. This book continues with Kyla exploring her relationship with Oscer, amd her relation shop with Brawler. Lots of truths come out, and trust is built between her and the two boys. The new twist is the chemistry between Kyla and Magnum. What started out as platonic (with lastly appreciation) is turning into something more.
Through all of this we are still seeing Kyla navigate life on Big Daddy K's radar, the rival gangs out to get her, high school, and Johnny's protectiveness. The fighting continues to be her outlet when everything starts to be too much.
Kayla's inner strength and willingness to take risks for what she wants keeps me enthralled and envious. She definitly know who she is, what she wants, and goes to get it.
Moore's writing continues to be flawless. I love that even though it is RH Kyla has an individual relationship with each of her men. The place is set by the two people in that relationship. There is not a competition or a race to ome up each other.

Love this story so far. Kyla is so badass and the perfect lead female character. Not as much spice as I normally prefer in an RH but the amazing story line makes up for it. All the guys are amazing but I keep hoping that Johnny has the character development I am desperately hoping for. If you are looking for a good RH with some fighting and a little gang violence this is definitely a solid series to read so far!
