Storytelling was strong, audiobook was great. I did not agree with a lot of the MC’s decisions, which we don’t have to for it to be a good story, but it was getting frustrating to understand her motivations as time went on.
I might like this more in a physical book? The narrator in the audiobook created a weird monotone, and I wasn’t finding the main character likeable. Which is a bummer because the book was definitely discussing important things- I’d just rather learn about them from another source.

I REALLY wanted to like this book…, but it was incredibly repetitive, surface level, and devoid of emotion for such an emotional topic.
The main character is NOT loveable and the secondary characters are so flat.
At one point I had to look up whether the author was a real person because it felt like I was reading something AI generated.
