I had the privilege of diving into an ARC of Falling for Fury, the debut novel by Brittay, and let me tell you, it's an absolute gem. Right from the first page, I was completely captivated, and knowing it's Brittany's first novel only added to my astonishment.
At the heart of the story is Addison, a determined law student grappling with her mental health battles. Enter Noah, our swoon-worthy male lead – a successful businessman with a heart of gold and a past that's left him wary of love. Their initial meeting is straight out of a rom-com, with sparks flying and unexpected chemistry igniting. From there, what unfolds is a fiery, passionate romance that takes both Addison and Noah by surprise.
I found myself rooting for Addy and Noah from start to finish, thanks in large part to their witty banter and undeniable chemistry.
What struck me most about Falling for Fury is its depth. Brittany doesn't shy away from tackling real issues like mental health, trauma, and trust in relationships. Addy's inner struggles felt raw and authentic, portrayed with a level of empathy and understanding that's truly commendable. And the character development? Absolutely top-notch.
Now, let's talk about Noah – oh, Noah. He's not your typical tall, dark, and handsome hero. Yes, he's all of those things, but he's also so much more. Noah is patient, kind, and incredibly supportive, especially when it comes to understanding Addison's struggles with her mental health. His unwavering commitment to her well-being and his infectious charm make him utterly irresistible – he's quickly become one of my favorite book boyfriends.
I am absolutely buzzing after finishing Falling for Fury, and let me tell you, I am counting down the days until the next book in the series hits the shelves! Brittany has set the bar sky-high with this debut, and I have no doubt that the rest of the series is going to be equally as incredible. So, Brittany, if you're reading this, consider me officially on board for whatever you have in store next – I'll be first in line to snatch up the sequel!
Tropes:
Frenemies to lovers
Golden retriever x black cat
He falls first
Mental health rep
Witty banter

I was part of the beta team and I loved every moment of it!
The mental health representation was impeccable! It was so on point it made me tear up at times and I think that it's 100% the strength of this novel, yes the love story was beautiful but I felt seen and I am sure many people will share that feeling too!
I can’t wait to read the final product, I can already tell that Brittany is a great writer I had so much fun reading “Falling for Fury”, I was hooked since the beginning, and wanted to know more!!
It will be fun to have in the future Addy’s friends' love story ;) Also, the spice OMG, it was so good!!!

This was such an unexpected read in all the best ways possible! Thank you Brittany for generously providing this ARC. I loved this novel so much, I am reading it again! ❤️
I was not prepared for a debut romance novel to have such depth and character development throughout. Our FMC, Addison, is far from your typical helpless lead that falls victim to the charm of a man. Instead, we have a reverse grumpy x sunshine dynamic between Addision and our MMC/Greek God, Noah. In addition to this Addison struggles with her mental health and anger which impacts her relationships with those around her. These topics are approached with such genuineness and grace that as a reader with similar battles, you can feel the growth and hope alongside Addison. Seeing not only her relationship with Noah develop but the relationship with herself was an honour to experience.
Falling for Fury leaves you wanting more from this fantastic author. I cannot wait to read the next Central Sparks Crew novel 😍

What a book, and what a FIRST book!
I received an ARC and while I did struggle with the first few chapters, once this book grabbed me I could barely put it down.
Addy's background and struggles were very relatable, especially as someone who has her own fair share of trauma and mental health issues. Addy's trauma and challenges were so well written that they spoke to my own and I often found myself shedding a tear or two at just how much she resonated with me. Addy's struggle and decision that she needed to find herself, but could also still carry around the lessons from the hurt was very important.
Noah's character makes me want a Greek sex-god of my own! He is kind, caring, has been through his own traumas but at the same time is respectful and a gentleman. He respects Addy's boundaries but makes it clear to her that he is there for her, whenever she needs him.
While there were some formatting issues in my copy, such as a chapter being repeated, I chalk that up to being an ARC and hope it will be fixed for the main release.
Overall I loved this book - once I got into it. While I feel as though the main family plot was kinda brushed over, it didn't make too much of a difference to the pacing of the book. After all, this was Addy's story, and it felt like Henry's actions just gave her that push she needed to confront her family.
I'm looking forward to Brittany's next book and following this world! I hope Addy and Noah make an appearance in the next book.

✨️Overall thoughts✨️:
I was stunned to see that the author was willing to open the door on mental health and so accurately portray these parts. I felt understood and it was cathartic to read something that hit close to home, to normalise the inner fight. Even though Rage is not how we express, the thoughts and feelings that cause and result very much are.
For those who don't experience mental health issues, I bet you know someone who does.
This will likely be quite enlightening whilst also being an awesome & enjoyable rollercoaster romance story.
This book was engaging & made me want more. Whilst the main characters were amazingly written so were all of the secondary characters.
The family politics and reflection of modern society was very accurate and it was refreshing to see a book where the world was portrayed so realistically.
I highly recommend this book to any romance reader. Please check the trigger warnings, but it is a light read on a heavy subject which is a impressive.

ARC REVIEW
♡♡♡♡/5
❦❦❦/5
first of all i wanted to thank brittany for providing me with an arc for her debut novel and for writing such a good and realistic representation on mental health issues such as depression, anxiety and intrusive thoughts. i was actually feeling down for a couple days while reading the book and i could see myself somehow reflected in her pages and in addy's mind.
in truth, it took me a couple chapters to actually get on board with abby and noah's story but once it clicked for me it was 100% beautiful and fun to see the way everything unfolds between them, how their relationship grows and how they both try to fight their own insecurities while at the same time trying to build something together.
i couldn't be more happy with an fmc like abby: the way she battles everyday with her rage, her overthinking, her family's overbearing and patronizing presence, their standars and her depression... i was mindblown and it literally made my heart ache.
i specially loved how noah tries to understand abby's feelings and thoughts through the whole book, not trying to change her but just making her see that he wants her for who she really is and that he just wants to support her no matter what in every step of the way. the fact that he also wants to protect her 24/7 but lets her fight her own battles instead??... noah's pov was certainly one of my favourite things of the book!!
i'm so curious about the rest of the series and i know i already said but i couldn't be more thankful to the author for a novel like this!!
so, what will you find in this book?:
🍰 reverse grump/sunshine
🧢 golden retriever mmc
🍰 frenemies to lovers
🧢 mental health rep
🍰 cute petnames
🧢 family drama
✨ release date: march 10th 2024
