Sad but absolutely unputdownable! So beautifully written and narrated on audio.

I liked it a lot

It did get me wondering a lot about one day romances

And I don’t think their relationship might’ve worked out if they hadnt you know, both died in the end
But of course they do so it’s a big question mark

-1 ⭐️ bc I didn’t cry and I wanted to, but I didn’t feel connected enough to the characters and maybe that’s my bad also I felt like the death cast didn’t quite make sense but again I could just be misunderstanding

just cried like a bbaby when I was at the beach

I have never never read a book that made me fully sob. Even at the beginning I had to pause and stop myself from crying because I wanted so much more for Mateo and Rufus. It was a heartbreaking and unique approach to questioning life after death and remembering to be brave. I absolutely loved it and will be thinking about it for a long time.

Adam Sivera did it again.
I cannot even think straight, I have too many feelings for this book. Obviously, it is going to rip your heart into pieces, the title warned us, but it is totally worth it. Yes, it is sad, but it is happy too, and you fell in love with both main characters (how can you not), and there are such heartwarming moments. And at the end it all is a story about how even though death is at the end of all of our stories (even though Death Call doesn't call us in advance), we have the right and the duty to live our present to the fullest without caring about risks or what others may think, and try to make the most out of it.
