I love me a good biker book, this one was okay. I had a lot of problems with character choices. Like a mother who doesn't show up to see her daughter who's been away for a couple years. A father who fights with his daughter because she's home?

I wish the story started by telling us where we were because the language threw me off for a bit. Once I figured it out, I got it but it took a few chapters. I also found myself constantly trying to map out the characters - the MC said she hadn't been home in 2 years and yet she know most of the club, even though she then admitted that she never met them. WHAT?

Idk, I wanted to like it more than I did but it just never got really into it.

Don't know how I feel about this one. It's more of a 2.75 rather than a 2 but it didn't do enough for me to go as far as 3. Can't put my finger on it, but the plot didn't entirely catch me and I somehow went along with it to see where it was headed but I wasn't majorly invested in the story. None of the characters really had me emotionally invested in their wellbeing either and I suspect that derives from the plot, though I would have liked them to be more complex rather than defined by the one characteristic: Nash was the manwhore, Scott the overprotective brother, Mum was the familymaker, Marcus the stereotypical bad dad - with cheating thrown in to make it worse. I'm not saying there weren't attempts by the author to improve on these, they just didn't do enough to make them come alive for me.

It is entirely possible that the series will get better as it goes. I may come back to check it later, but for anyone who just got started on it and enjoyed the premise, I encourage you to try the second book as well before you write it off since there are some promising signs there. Learning curve and all. :)

Not for me

generally MC books and I are friends, but STORM and I were not. The storyline didn't keep my attention and I didn't particularly like any of the characters.

I feel as if the relationship development should have been longer than it was. In my opinion Madison.let J off the hook was to easily om see thing specifically on what he did two years before. But that's just me. This is probably one of the major points in why I gave it the rating. But other than that I enjoyed the book and will probably read the rest of the series.

J & Madison

Love love love! Hot Aussie bikers. Tension between everyone. Hot, off the charts sexual chemistry between J and Madison. Definitely a 5* read

Oh god, so bad. This entire book was like texting with that friend every girl has, that one that is overly dramatic and always makes you roll your eyes. Slutty and not in a good way. Not entertaining drama, just the kind that makes you roll your eyes.

I'd have just stopped reading but I paid for it so I had to keep going and hope.

Oh well.

Wow there was a lot going on in this story! I decided to give it a try even though second chance romance really isn’t my favorite. It was good but overall a little lacking for me.
