The worst and most misguided part of this book is the title!

Creepy, full of generalities, and 80% filler. The last 2/3 was basically worthless, being a guide on how to neg and gaslight your gf but so vague and simplistic that I don't think it even does that properly. The whole book was full of great, normal people advice like "If you want to date somebody, use the secret technique of becoming their friend first."
First 1/3, which was basically a pick-up artist personality quiz, was actually pretty interesting as a kind of taxonomy of traditional romantic and seductive archetypes. More fantasy than reality, tropey and full of assumptions ofc, but helped get my ideas flowing. I read this book as research for a novel about romance scammers I'm writing, and it wasn't 100% useless for that purpose. It was 100% weird and creepy though.

Deeply insightful, extremely unsettling and eyeopening. This book can give you the tools to conquer the world one person at a time. All of the knowledge, the science to voice tonality, every gesture and look is beautifully written in it, teaching how to control everyone. This knowledge has spilled into modern marketing and personal branding and it's kind of necessity to read it and be prepared so you are not just another "victim".
