i feel like the last 10% lost me a little but i really enjoy thomas harris’s narration style. i think some parts of act 1 slowed down the pacing quite a bit but i don’t mind too much

This is probably the book I enjoyed the least in this series. It took me forever to read. The beginning was okay, but in the middle it got so boring and dragging. Then it became a little better again when they captured Dr. Lecte,r but it still wasn't as interesting and exciting as I expected it to be. What I didn't enjoy the most was the end. It went below all my expectations of how this could end.

Overall, I enjoyed this, but I did have some issues with characters acting in ways that I wouldn't have expected, based on their past characterisation.
