Fascinating, terrifying, and very well-written. I appreciate Susannah Cahalan's writing style, probably because of her journalistic background. She's very fact-based, and is able to weave her experiences in with interviews of people who have better memories of the time seamlessly. Well done. An excellent medical memoir.

This is a book that will stick with you long after you've finished.
I'm more of a fiction reader and in an effort to read more non-fiction I added this to my reading list.
Now finishing it...why was I leaving it sitting there so long!

The pages flew by, and I couldn't put the book down. Her experiences make you reflect on your own, and how easily your life could change. Also as someone who has bee  graced with a healthy body, how important family and the doctors who support you through a  illness are in your success of recovery.
