I've loved everything Taylor Jenkins Reid has written, her writing style is engaging and keeps me going back for more.

The book was easy to read and the story about female austronauts in the 1980s was really interesting. I loved Joan as a character, her perception of others and unwavering love for her niece Frances.

I can definitely say that this book was not something I would’ve picked up on my own. Taylor Jenkins Reid is an author that I don’t normally reach for, but this book was different. It was emotional and powerful. The beginning really started you off with a bang. Drags you right in and puts you in a chokehold. It was definitely a great start.

I enjoy the writing style and the character development throughout the book. Learning about the past of each character. I can definitely say Joan’s sister is the worst…like I hated every time she was talking 🤣 I love Joan’s relationship with her niece and I loved warring her relationship with Vanessa grow.

Learning more about the stars and space was cool, I just felt like a huge part of the book got super slow for me. I kept losing interest and walking away from it. I’m glad I stuck with it though, the ending was such an emotional rollercoaster and the narrators did an amazing job with it.
